We had such a large wedding party requiring make up but this was not a problem for Lyn. Each make up was carefully applied and everyone felt amazing. The make up lasted the whole day and night - I booked in for a refresh in the evening but the make up was so carefully applied that it ended up being my hair refreshed rather than my make up.
I am an extremely self conscious person but Lyn made me feel like I was a princess. She was so kind and helpful not just with the make up but making me feel genuinely more relaxed about the ceremony. I can not recommend Lyn enough she is amazing at her job but also such a kind hearted person’

From the very first communication, I knew Lyn would be a pleasure to meet and work with. She is extremely professionally but so down to earth and friendly I knew she’d make me feel comfortable! She gave me all the information I would need to make a decision and explained how the process worked and what to expect.
Lyn was extremely accommodating when it came to trials as well and after having a wee wobbly after the first one (Normal bride overthinking everything!) She made time to come to my house and do another trial for me. This was without a shadow of a doubt the best service I have ever received. As she worked we chatted and talked about the wedding and she really put all my worries and fears to rest.
On the morning of the wedding Lyn showed up with a smile and instantly put me and my bridal party at ease. She explained how the morning would go and got to work. It was literally like having another friend to get ready with!
With the photographer being late I was obviously quite upset that we would miss the getting ready shots, these were extremely important to me. Lyn took charge and went above and beyond and ensured that our videographer was able to capture all the shots and made sure I was happy. She didn’t need to do this but I will be forever grateful as these photos are some of my favourite from the day.
I was so pleased with my makeup! I felt beautiful and got so many compliments. She is so adaptable and listened to everything I was saying, asking me as we went to see how I liked it.
I honestly feel my hair and makeup on the day gave me the confidence to feel like a beautiful bride. As someone who struggles with insecurity (especially in photos) it was a shock when my photos came back and I was extremely happy with how I looked and couldn’t find a fault. I truly felt beautiful and that showed in the photos.
Although I won’t get married again…… I will certainly seek Lyn’s services again when I have an occasion to do so!

I love makeup, and as you know I really wanted a flawless but not overdone makeup look. I didn’t have particularly high expectations that a makeup artist would be able to get it exactly the way I wanted it using durable and lasting products to achieve the look. Before we met, based on previous experience I expected to have many trials with several different makeup artists and hopefully go with the artists that could achieve a look closest to the look I wanted, however after meeting with you for a trial you got it straight away and I didn’t need to meet with anyone else. Your love for makeup really showed through, and your product knowledge was outstanding, you listened to what I was looking for and achieved it straight away. I also really appreciated your great communication throughout and your help choosing a lipstick which was a decision I struggled with for weeks.
On the day itself the whole wedding party had a great time getting our makeup done, and you did an amazing job with everyone from those not that used to wearing makeup to my gran who brought along a full list of products and instructions. Thank you again for doing such a great job and making something I thought would have been one of the most stressful parts of the wedding planning so easy and fun!

On meeting Lyn for my trial she was so warm and friendly, explained everything clearly and ensured that I was completely happy with my look. Lyn listened to everything I told her and achieved amazing results by applying her knowledge and skill set to my needs. She was also on hand to provide help and information throughout the time from my initial trial up until my wedding day.
On my wedding day Lyn arrived promptly with all her equipment and it was honestly like my friend had paid me a visit. She was so very relaxed and even won round my painfully shy little girl who normally doesn’t go near strangers, let alone sit and have her hair done. We had a wonderful morning with Lyn, so much so I was sad to see her go. She put us all at ease and just has a wonderfully calming way about her. I could not imagine there being anyone better than Lyn for my big day. I would also like to add that as well as my makeup being absolutely stunning she did a magnificent job of my hair not to mention my bridesmaid and flower girls! We hired lyn to come back in the evening to do our makeup touch ups before the evening guests arrived and gave a few of our daytime guests a little treat, they were also so impressed with Lyn and thought she was such a lovely person.
This girl is simply amazing! And I am going to make a conscious effort to go on more nights out just to have my hair and makeup done by her! She is an asset to the hair and makeup industry with her wealth of knowledge and skills. Her dedication and commitment to her work deserves recognition.

Where do I start? Lyn is an angel sent from wedding make up heaven!
She is amazing!! I had a few issues on my wedding morning by being stupid and having a sunbed the day before my wedding to get rid of a spot on my face….and since I wasn’t used to sunbeds my face was like a lobster after only 5 minutes. I was having a complete melt down the evening before my wedding as my face was getting redder & redder as the hours passed. I text Lyn in a total panic asking if she had any tips that would take the redness down as I was seriously contemplating cancelling my wedding (over dramatic as usual). Lyn came right back to me with tips on what to do and assured me she had everything I needed to cover the redness.
Not only did Lyn show up early with loads of supply’s to cover my sunbed stupidity but she still showed up even though the poor lamb had food poisoning. Lyn was fantastic on my wedding day, while she must have been absolutely dying she was still cheery, joined in our fun, done my make up (red face free I might add), mother of the bride and 4 bridesmaids who all looked fantastic.
I would highly recommend Lyn to anyone as she is 100% reliable, her make up skills are second to none and for the price she is asking for, for her to provide you with a stress free morning and for making every member of the wedding party looking like an absolute princess – Lyn is an absolute steal!

What can I say! After booking and cancelling a couple of make up artists before my wedding day I just knew when I met Lyn that she was the right one! Nothing was a problem and she has stayed in touch giving me tips on where to order things and her latest favs! At each trial we had so much fun and she did a fantastic job! It just got better and better and on my big day she pulled a blinder, creating a smokey eye look and fantastic lip colour that toned in perfectly. My hair was exactly what I was looking for too….simple and classic.
She’s a fantastic artist with the best make up collection I’ve ever seen (kept in pristine condition) – she literally has everything!!!! She really knows her stuff and it’s completely effortless for her. And to boot…she’s a great laugh and so easy to chat to…was like having a friend in tow!

I hired Lyn for my wedding in Edinburgh this July. Lyn did the make up for me, my 3 bridesmaids, the mother of the bride, the mother of the groom, a junior bridesmaid and my cousin! Despite the long list of people she made the morning a stress free and fun experience.
Lyn was very responsive to what we wanted for the day and made sure everybody was happy with their make-up. From first contact Lyn was professional and friendly and always very responsive. She was flexible with timings and particularly helpful when trying to plan a time for the make-up trial.
We also hired Lyn to come back to the wedding in the evening to touch up make-up for the bridal party and a few guests. This is a great service and one I would recommend to everyone.

Lyn did the make up for myself and my two bridesmaids and Mum for my wedding in June. We had a trial a few months beforehand where we discussed ideas for make up and she had a few suggestions. I had in kindly roughly what I wanted for myself and she was able to tweak it so that it suited my skin and colourings.
On the day, she was absolutely fantastic and made everyone feel very at ease. One of my bridesmaids is very in to make up and used to work at Clarins and she was delighted with her make up, which says it all!
On the day, everyones make up looked perfect and Lyn was able to tailor a similar look to suit everyone.

Prior to my wedding we had a trial with Lyn which was brilliant in helping decide on colours and styles.
On our wedding day, both my mum and I got our hair and makeup done by Lyn. She was professional and friendly, making the morning so easy and relaxed.

Lyn did both mine, my Mum and bridesmaids make up as well as my little girls lippy! She gave us all a steer on colours at the trial and came prepared with military precision on the day!
Lyn also did both mine and the bridesmaids hair and I actually ended up with two trials as decided after the first trial I wanted a more vintage look. I literally showed Lyn what I was thinking and she put it together.

I hired Lyn for our wedding in the Highlands at the end of the year. I did everything last minute so was in her house the day before having my makeup trial! She was so accommodating and drove from Edinburgh to Glencoe on the morning of the wedding. She did my Mum, bridesmaid, mother in law and me on the day. The makeup that she chose for all for all of us looked absolutely beautiful – my mum and me are quite difficult for makeup as we have dark skin, however everybody looked stunning. She is an absolute professional, however we had a good laugh throughout too!
